To me this song has an oriental vibe to it. It sounds nice, nonetheless. It feels very calm.

DanJohansen responds:

I suppose the Pan flute has a slight touch of oriental to it, not much but a little. Glad you enjoyed the track!

They all feel like oriental lullabies for some reason; all in all, they sound wonderful!

DjGubkafish responds:

thank you sir

EWQL is really high-quality. The song sounds like it would fit a fantasy-themed landscape; the "pirates" tag is fitting. Yet the ending feels very sudden. Other than that, great work!

KorpzeAudio responds:

Thanks man. I'm glad you enjoyed.

Even for such a short piece, it has a great chord progression (heroic, as you mentioned). Indeed it may not fit its actual purpose but it still sounds great!

LucidShadowDreamer responds:

Thanks for the kind words! I used a pretty standard heroic chord progression; it's not the only time I've used something similar :p
I'm glad you think this sounds great :D!

It feels like the beginning of a journey or trip for me; the ending feels sudden though; shouldn't it be a loop? Other than that, great song!

It really is a tranquil piece; I also like the chimes you've used every now and then for measure transitions. Great work!

MirgilCando responds:

Thanks a lot for your review! I'll probably try to release more songs like this one in the future since it turned out really well.

Being a song, I think it'd be better if it was longer and more varied. I feel this could fit better as a loop in its current state; other than that, it's a great start, but a start only.

lantaren responds:

So what would you say if I just added a small interlude to this track and brought back the first part? I could also incorporate a key change to change the new version from it's ~3 minutes to maybe 4 or 5, but I think 3 is more than good enough. But anyways, yeah. so I'm rendering a new version now :P should only take a 20 minutes

I feel it would match an arabic landscape. Frumoasa piesa!

sorohanro responds:

Mersi fain :)

Those high notes that the piano plays make me think of huge, enclosed space, like a cave for example. Sounds wonderful!

WarmanSteve responds:

Thanks! I was thinking of a dangerous dark forest with colorful luminescent plants, but I can see that too with all the reverb :P

It's a lovely improvisation that you've done. Beautiful!

pftq responds:

Thanks
