Love it; if only you would finish it, because so far it sounds good!

That "heavy metal" feel of the song was achieved, but it was way too short to even be able to variate it; I sincerely recommend making it longer!

NerdRoll responds:

thank you. ive thought about making a longer version of this song, as i only made it for a quick running and anger scene for an animation im collaberating on. perhaps soon ill start recording a full length song for it. :3

I feel like this track could've been better if you varied the melodic line a bit more; the feeling that this song radiates is happiness for me (must've used full major chords there).

NerdRoll responds:

i agree, i was kinda at a loss of thought when making the melodic line. just kinda repeated it to keep the song going. i need to re do this song one day. but thank you for your opinion. also it was (of course) inspired by older 8-bit game songs, so it was to be filled with all the happiness i had as a child growing up with those kind of games. :D

You picked a beautiful chord progression and the instruments match the theme you've set, a lullaby. Nice work!

NerdRoll responds:

thank you very much! i feel this is one of my best songs, even though its so short XD

Nice song, gives me a bit of a tense feeling; that's the kind of atmosphere I think this song would fit in the beginning. Then comes the feeling of agitation when the piano starts the fast arpeggios. After that, it goes back to the tense feeling. Overall, I enjoyed it, but as ZigZag said, it's very quiet.

NerdRoll responds:

im not sure why it is always coming out so quiet. perhaps the volume of the program im using is messed up a little, ill have to take a peek at it one day and re upload it so its louder.

The song's good, I like it. But halfway in the song, that sped-up laugh felt really weird. Other than that, I agree, it would fit a loop.

NerdRoll responds:

thankz, the sped up laugh was indented as if throws the listener off a bit. not expecting such a thing. i plan to re write this song and upload it along with a music video. it was indented to be kind of a horror or suspense piece. i like how it turned out, though i need to update it, as its my oldest work on here. i was kinda in-experienced when i worked on this song.

It sounds intense from the beginning to the end; generally, this type of music should be heard when there's an intense moment in a game (what I'm saying is, it attains its purpose wonderfully). Well done with this one!

SoundChris responds:

Thanks a lot for your kind words Alxertion! You are right - the music is played in a key moment in the game where the hero has to face a very new dimension of evil and darkness. Thats why i inserted heartbeat sounds and breath sounds at the beginning to increase the tension. The heartbeat is starting slowly and gets faster and faster until the first crushing hit comes after the riser.

Thanks a lot four your review and all the best!

There's so much beauty in this song, really. It's beautiful, you should've published it long ago in my opinion!

It's very nice what you did for three minutes, with just two soundfonts.

LexRodent responds:

Thanks, doing simple things works better for me.

What I imagine when listening to this is a large army preparing to march onwards. This does sound great and epic, as Daalgue said; Nice work!

F4LL0UT responds:

Thank you very much! That's pretty much the kind of scene and mood I wanted to illustrate with this piece. :)
